Apprentice Learning and Organisational Development Assistant
This role is about helping our staff – and the organisation – perform at their best. You’ll help design and deliver learning experiences that are practical, engaging and genuinely useful. Your work will support us to:
Grow skills across the workforce Develop great leaders Build a positive, supportive workplace culture where people feel valued and proud to belongOne day you might be planning a hands‑on training workshop. Another day you could be creating eye‑catching content to promote learning opportunities or helping us understand how staff feel about working here. No two days will look the same, and you’ll never be short of something interesting to do.
Your responsibilities will be varied, including:
Planning, co‑ordinating and delivering learning workshops and staff events Supporting our e‑learning platform and keeping training records accurate Creating engaging content to promote learning opportunities Helping design a digital learning hub that’s easy to use and visually appealing Working with specialists to support staff development, wellbeing and retentionTraining:
The candidate will complete an apprenticeship within the agreed-upon subject for the vacancy. This may include a BTEC Diploma/Standard and End Point Assessment. It may also include Functional Skills in maths and English.
Employer training will be provided through induction and support from the Line Manager.
The Apprentice at the end of this qualification will achieve a Level 3 Learning and Development Apprenticeship Standard.
Training Outcome:
Progression within the Council or Learning and Development.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday (08.45 to 17.15). Friday (08.45 to 16.45). One hour lunch break.
