Apprentice Stores Operative (Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative)

You will be supported to become proficient in:

Using a forklift and reach truck (training will be provided) Picking & packing goods for export and in-house manufacture Handling high value parts and large components Ensuring health and safety requirements are followed Shrink-wrapping Unloading deliveries General housekeeping

You will also work closely with other areas of the company including machine shop and fabrication.

Training:
Blended learning with self-study online and remote sessions.   Diarised visits from dedicated Trainer/Assessor Attendance to Loughborough College for an Induction Day (Induction to take place on the last Wednesday of the month that you are enrolled, 9:30am-3pm. Confirmation of date provided upon enrolment) Attendance to Loughborough College for Functional Skills (if required) On-the-job training Off-the-job training

Training Outcome:

The apprentice stores operative will be exposed to all areas of the business through their daily duties. Experienced and motivated stores operatives have previously progressed into service/fitter roles within the company.
