Sheet Metal Apprentice
Apprentices working at RHH Franks Ltd will be working as part of the team, working to complete the requirements of the Metal Fabricator Standard. To ensure you gain the experience you will:
Learn how to read engineering drawings Learn how to measure and mark out and produce sheet metal components and assemblies to precision tolerances Learn to do TIG welding Learn how to maintain workshop equipment and keep it in good repair Observe, learn and understanding a wide range of engineering skills and processes Able to demonstrate these skills and processes by working independently or with a team to undertake tasks and increase overall contribution to the department Maintaining a logbook over the duration of the apprenticeship period Recording training, projects that have been undertaken and skills learnedTraining:
Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship Standard BPC Grow for Apprentices programme Functional Skills in English and Maths if required
Training Outcome:
Progression to full time employment.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 07:45 to 16:15. Friday, 07:45 to 12:45.
