Childcare Apprenticeship - Wigan
As a Nursery Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a nurturing early years setting, supporting children aged 0–5 while learning on the job.
You’ll work alongside experienced practitioners, helping to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn and thrive.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Assist with daily care routines including feeding, changing, and toileting Supervise children during play, mealtimes, and rest Help ensure every child feels safe, happy, and valued Support fun, educational activities Assist in delivering the EYFS framework Observe and record children’s development Help maintain a clean and safe environment Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures Support hygiene routines and risk assessments Work closely with colleagues and managers Build positive relationships with parents/carers Attend training sessions and complete courseworkTraining:

Training Outcome:
There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship

You support qualified staff in caring for and educating young children (typically ages 0–5).
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday ( Shift TBC between 7.00am - 6.00pm)
