This Apprenticeship the Early Year setting includes:

Providing a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times Working with other professionals in the nursery for the benefit of children Meeting the policies and procedures Planning activities that ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes and goals previously set

Training:

ASA Training Ltd offer a flexible delivery of training which enables individuals to be able to learn at a convenient time to them.

Every learner will have access to online resources such as revision tools for the units in their specific qualification and practice exam questions for the learners to work through towards any exams.

ASA Training Ltd believe that the best way to deliver qualifications is through blended learning, including a range of 1-2-1 assessment, revision and observation visits.

Enrolments all year round.

QUALIFICATIONS ACHIEVED WITH APPRENTICESHIP COMPLETION:

Apprenticeship Standard - Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator Level 2 Functional Skills in English Level 2 Functional Skills in maths 20% Off the job training End Point Assessment - Professional Discussion underpinned by a portfolio and a Knowledge Test

Training Outcome:

Progression from this role could include:

Residential Childcare (level 3) Healthcare Support (level 3) Children, Young People & Families Practitioner (level 4)

Employer Description:
JJ’s Kiddycare LLP is owned and managed by the mother and daughter team of June Wattam and Jenni Cheney, offering a friendly home from home, professional, stimulating and loving environment with 62 years experience in this sector between them. JJ’s is a purpose-built nursery situated in a rural farm location between South Kilworth and Welford. The site is set in lovely open countryside where staff take the children out on walks and picnics so they can explore the outdoor environment. There is also a fabulous outdoor, all weather, covered play area where children play and learn in the fresh air throughout the day.

Working Hours :
4 days and every Friday off. Schedule to be confirmed.
