Apprentice PE and Sports Teaching Assistant
Support the PE Lead and teachers in delivering engaging PE lessons, sports activities, and fixtures
Plan and run extracurricular clubs, including breakfast, lunchtime, and after-school activities
Promote an inclusive, safe, and active environment for all pupils
Support pupils’ physical, emotional, and social development, including those with additional needs
Monitor and report on pupil progress, behaviour, and wellbeing
Prepare and maintain PE equipment and learning resources
Assist with school events, competitions, trips, and swimming sessions
Uphold school policies, including safeguarding, health & safety, and behaviour
Contribute positively to the wider school community and ethos
Training:
Training for this qualification will be provided by ourselves at SCCU Group, an Ofsted good training provider. You'll recieve a monthly 1-1 tutor led session by a dedicated tutor throughout your training, with activities to complete during your off the job time within working hours.
Training Outcome:
May lead to a future permanent position withing the School.
The Sports Coach Level 4 apprenticeship would be a possible progression pathway.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, Term time only. Hours to be agreed, depending on sporting clubs, sometimes before or after school hours. Fixed tem contract for duration of the apprenticeship.
