Apprentice Fabricator

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you’ll be fully trained to work as part of our friendly and dedicated team fabricating all the components of a wide range of bespoke industrial doors such as roller shutters, high speed doors, folding shutters, and garage doors.

Our Requirements:

A genuine interest in developing a career as a Fabricator/Welder
Desire to learn and develop the ability to use workshop tools; Guillotine/Mig Welder/Band Saw/Pillar Drill/Brake Press Ability to learn to read and interpret engineering drawings Flexible attitude, with good organisation and prioritisation skills

Training:

The apprentice will be released for 1 day per week to attend Wigan College, Pagefield Campus WN1 2JH. At the end of the training, they will gain a Level 3 Metal Fabrication qualification.

All other days will be spent at the manufacturing unit on Stephens Way in Wigan.
