Apprentice Electrician (Chesterfield & Matlock)

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will learn how to maintain customers' homes to a high and safe standard.

Day-to-day, you will:

Work alongside qualified Electricians on first and second fix electrical work Assist with electrical repairs in domestic properties Learn how to diagnose faults and complete repairs safely Produce work to high standards while providing excellent customer service Build confidence and practical skills with the support of an experienced mentor

No previous experience is needed - just enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Training:

You will study the Level 3 Electrical Installation Apprenticeship (up to 4 years) at Chesterfield College or a similar provider, attending college one day a week while gaining hands-on experience for the rest of the week.

Once you successfully complete your apprenticeship, you will be able to apply for permanent roles within PPC. We have a strong track record of offering permanent employment to our apprentices, and we'll continue to support your development as you progress.

Training Outcome:
On successful completion of the Installation & Maintenance Electrician Level 3 apprenticeship, you will be able to apply for any related job vacancies within PPC If you gain permanent employment with PPC, you will continue to be supported in your learning and development

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm with 30-minute lunch break.
