Process Engineering Apprentice
As part of your apprenticeship, you will develop practical skills and knowledge in areas such as:
Working safely in a manufacturing environment Understanding how the Forbo Ripley site and the Flotex products are manufactured Support Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Quality teams with day to day production issues Planning, improving, monitoring and evaluating processes to make them more efficient Supporting the introduction of new products and new processes Quality control, problem solving and continuous improvement Building core engineering, IT, communication and presentation skills Review and update process documents such as process maps and control plans Complete all apprenticeship training requirements and successfully pass the End Point AssessmentTraining Outcome:
Full time permanent position available to the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

The Ripley site produces a range of flocked floor coverings in sheet, tile and plank formats. With a manufacturing footprint of 12000sqm and a 9000sqm warehouse, Ripley’s manufacturing processes include polyamide yarn cutting, dyeing, drying, electrostatic flocking, rotary and digital printing, backing application and final cutting/conversion
Working Hours :
08.30 - 16.45, with 1 hour earlier finish on a Friday.
