Traffic Operator Apprenticeship

The apprentice will assist with a variety of operational tasks across the business. 

Operations Support:

Assist with daily operational planning and logistics coordination  Support route planning and delivery scheduling  Help monitor operational KPIs and performance metrics  Assist with maintaining operational records and documentation 

Transport Fleet Support: 

Assist with vehicle compliance documentation  Help maintain driver records and transport files  Support vehicle maintenance scheduling and record keeping  Assist with driver communication and operational updates 

Warehouse Supply Chain: 

Support goods-in and goods-out processes  Assist with stock monitoring and stock accuracy checks  Learn warehouse management systems and inventory processes  Help ensure warehouse health safety procedures are followed 

Compliance Administration: 

Assist with maintaining health and safety documentation

Training:
Traffic Operator Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard

Training Outcome:
Alongside on-the-job training, the successful candidate will complete a Level 2 Traffic Operator Apprenticeship, developing the knowledge and skills required for a long-term career in logistics and operations management Successful completion on this apprenticeship will then open up the options to start level 3-5 courses

Organic Fruit & Vegetable Wholesaler, Langridge Organic Products has its roots in the mid 80s at Langridge Farm amidst the rolling hills in the heart of Devon, providing a perfect environment to produce organic food.

The soil has been constantly enriched by a sound ecosystem, comprising a long rotation of crops and fertility-building leys. The food from this system is renowned for its superb flavour. Langridge now has growers throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world all working to the original uncompromising standard practised by Bernard Govier, our founder and mentor.

Langridge Organic Products Ltd started wholesaling organic vegetables in the early 80s, out of Langridge Farm, to sell its own local organic vegetables and became a stand-alone organic wholesale business in the mid 90s when it was realised that organic farming had really come of age.

Our operational base is at new developed premises in Feltham. West London and comprises 20000 sq ft of warehouse space with two thirds of this refrigerated, from where we distribute nationally. From our beginnings marketing produce grown on our own farm, we now offer a wide range of local organic vegetables, fruit, dairy and other selected organic products from all over the world.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 6.00am - 2.00pm
