Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Site – Reading, Berkshire – Up to £45,000 per annum
Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a commercial site in Reading, Berkshire. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to be part of an on-site maintenance team delivering high-quality building services.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (C&G / NVQ Level 2 & 3) with a solid understanding of building services. This role is ideal for someone recently qualified who is looking to further develop their knowledge and practical experience within a commercial environment.

Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
- 07:00 am – 16:00 pm / 08:00 am – 17:00 pm / 09:00 am – 18:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and fabric systemsMaintain emergency lighting and fire alarm systemsFault finding across electrical and building services systemsMonitor and operate BMS and electrical monitoring systemsMaintain HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, humidifiers, and chillersWork on VAV and FCU systemsMaintain domestic water services and carry out plumbing repairsService pumps, motors, and variable speed drivesMaintain gas boilers and hot water calorifiersCarry out water treatment tasks in line with compliance standardsComplete general plumbing works including unblocking toilets and replacing tapsUndertake general building fabric maintenance
Package:

Requirements:
Electrical qualification – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 (Essential)Must be able to provide copies of trade certificatesProven track record in commercial building maintenanceLegionella Awareness (L8 ACOP)Multi-skilled with a good understanding of building servicesStrong communication and client-facing skillsAdditional mechanical or AC qualifications (desirable)
