Electrical Day Shift Engineer – Client Direct – Commercial Office – Canary Wharf, East London – £50,000 per annum

Exciting opportunity to join a direct client based within a landmark commercial office in Canary Wharf, East London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Maintenance Engineer to be part of a high-performing on-site engineering team, delivering first-class maintenance within a fast-paced, high-spec environment.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent) with a strong background in commercial building services. Working as part of a large and supportive team, you will be responsible for carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the building.

Hours of Work:

 - 4 on 4 off (Days Only)

 - 07:00 am – 19:00 pm


Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenanceElectrical maintenance including lighting, fault finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distributionMaintain HVAC systems including AHUs, FCUs, and air conditioning unitsMonitor and reset chillers and carry out basic fault diagnosisMonitor BMS systems (hot & cold trends)Monitor UPS systems and take readingsMaintain pumps, motors, seals, and bearingsCarry out emergency lighting testingSupport general mechanical maintenance across siteWork collaboratively within a large on-site engineering teamEnsure high standards of service delivery across landlord and tenant areas

Requirements:
Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent (Essential)18th Edition Wiring RegulationsProven track record in commercial building maintenanceExperience within critical or high-end commercial environments (desirable)Ability to work at heights (training provided)Strong communication and teamwork skillsProfessional and client-facing approach
