HR Advisor (bias towards ER & Resourcing) – Manchester – 6 month FTC
We are working with a really exciting and hugely successful international brand to recruit x2 HR Advisors to join the central HR team.
As a result of a mixture of maternity leave cover, restructures and internal promotions these roles are being recruited on a 6 month contract basis at first, with potential to be extended.
Although essentially generalist positions, one will have a bias towards Employee Relations and the other will be focused on Talent & Resourcing, therefore you should have a particular interest in either (or both!) of these areas.
From an ER perspective the workload is really varied, you’ll be working closely with a team of fabulously commercial HRBPs along with an extremely efficient and effective HR administration team to manage a diverse ER caseload.
There is also opportunity to work closely with stakeholders out in the business and provide support and guidance, both face to face and via telephone/video call.
They are a highly people centric business and strong relationship building is encouraged, you will genuinely be able to see the positive impact of your support.
If you are more naturally inclined to Resourcing and Talent, there’s a space for you too, working in an advisory capacity in terms of attraction and identification of top talent.
You’ll work with both HRBPs and business leaders to craft appropriate JDs, along with best routes to market which could including advertising via their careers site and affiliate sites, or social media /LinkedIn.
Additionally it may involve engaging with third parties or carrying out some search activity yourself, depending on capacity.
There may also be a need to attend interviews with less experienced or less confident managers.
These roles would be perfect for someone with a generalist HR background who has a particular interest in either Employee Relations or Resourcing & Talent, and is looking to develop their experience in a very recognisable international brand.

Due to the fixed term contract nature of the role they are looking for individuals who can start quickly.
