In addition to classroom instruction, apprentices participate in on-the-job learning experiences, which may involve assignments on various Orsted offshore wind farms and projects across the UK Therefore, flexibility and willingness to travel are essential qualities for apprentices in the program.

An expectation exists for apprentices to advance to an HNC program in year three of the program, with funding provided by the company. This demonstrates Orsted's commitment to supporting the professional development and career progression of its apprentices.
