Heavy vehicle Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship

With the rapid increase in the complexity of today’s trucks - and the technology needed to keep them up and running - first class training for those involved in the vital servicing and maintenance of these vehicles has become more important than ever.

The DAF Apprentice Programme gives you the chance to join the select group of specialist technicians working on some of the most modern, sophisticated trucks on the road.

The day-to-day tasks include:

Observing and assisting technicians Following health and safety procedures Servicing MOTs All aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair

Training:

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Ring Road Garage is a vehicle mechanics based in Buckingham. As a MAN partner garage we specialise in maintenance, repair and recovery for fleets of trucks and buses. We also have experienced engineers that support cars, vans and motorhomes. You can find our garage just off the A421 ring road in Buckingham, which is only 12 miles from the M1 and 8 miles from the M40. This conveniently places us within easy access of Oxford, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Banbury and Northampton. With a 5-acre site, our garage has well-equipped workshops and plenty of parking, making us suitable for all vehicles. Our existing clients include dry freight, refrigerated, tanker and tipper fleets, hook loader/container fleets, coach operators, plant and equipment, horseboxes, local authority and racing teams. Ring Road Garage Ltd has a specialist team of fully qualified staff at our offices and workshops. This means that whoever you speak to, you’ll always find someone that can answer your questions and provide you with consistently excellent customer service. We take pride in the relationships we build with our customers. We continue to provide a “one stop” operation where we deliver our customer’s requirements entirely in-house and with exceptional quality.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, working hours to be confirmed. 40 hours a week
