As you develop through your apprenticeship you will become confident and efficient in:
Preparing? and cooking? food to high standards and quality
Adhering to legislative framework? in respect to the preparation, cooking and storage of food items?
Completing food safety documentation
Managing stock
Cleaning and maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Operating specialist kitchen equipment
Liaising with other team members
Reviewing and developing menus
Adhering to organisational brand, standards and recipe specifications including portion control and waste management
Training:
Level 2 Commis Chef
Day release one day per week
Middlesbrough College
Training Outcome:
Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available.

Working Hours :
Monday - Sunday. Days and times to be discussed at interview. Typical shifts are: Monday - Saturday 10.00am - 3.00pm / 3.00pm - 9.00pm / 5.00pm - 9.00pm and Sunday 10.00am - 5.00pm.
