Apprentice Bricklayer

Assist in the construction and repair of walls, chimneys, foundations, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and mortar. Prepare materials, mix mortar, and use various hand and power tools. Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to understand project specifications. Work on-site under the guidance of experienced bricklayers, ensuring that health and safety standards are always met. Develop skills in laying bricks and blocks with precision, ensuring level and plumb construction. Learn finishing techniques and work on a variety of residential and commercial projects

Training:

College day release, 1 day a week taking place at Nottingham College Ruddington campus
