To provide personal care and support to people in their own homes for whom the agency has agreed
To provide a service in line with an agreed care and support plan.
To care for people in non-discriminatory ways, respecting each users dignity, individuality, cultural and social background and independence
To work with other staff employed by the company and were involved with staff from other services in order to provide an integrated approach to peoples health and care
Contributing to activities in a safe way, keeping and filing clear records, keeping to regulations, following the agreed way of working
Respecting confidentiality by not discussing any personal information on individuals or staff with unauthorised people and storing records securely
To work in partnership with peoples family members and friends who are involved in their care and support
To contribute to individual wellbeing
Training:
Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry.
It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.
This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.
This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Adult Care Worker - Level 2 Apprenticeship
Training Outcome:
Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship
