Apprentice Sewing Machinist - 14718

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a sewing machinist apprentice. In this role, you will work alongside experienced craftsman and technicians to learn all details of traditional and modern sewing techniques. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with cutting and sewing fabrics for upholstered furniture pieces,
• learning how to operate and maintain sewing equipment.
• Learn the skills and techniques involved in the assembly of furniture, including piping, making zips, borders and top sewing.
• Understanding quality control procedures and ensuring products meet company standards.

Training:
Level 2 Sewing Machinist Functional Skills  Work based learning

Training Outcome:

Progression onto full time employment

Working Hours :
6:45am - 4:45pm Monday - Friday, breaks am/pm (Paid) and 30 min lunch (Unpaid)
