Apprentice Material Cutter - 14716

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Material Cutter apprentice. In this role, you will be trained to work alongside experienced craftsmen and technicians.

Duties include:

Learn all the details of cutting fabrics for upholstered furniture pieces Learning how to operate and maintain hand cutting /machine cutting equipment Learning the structure of fabrics and how they behave in a production environment, i,e stretch/pile of fabrics Identifying flaws within the fabrics we use and how we work around these problems

Training:
Level 2 Materical Cutter Apprenticeship Standard Functional Skills  Work based learning 

Training Outcome:
Progression onto full time employment

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 6.45am - 4.45pm, 15 mins break am and pm (Paid) and 30 min lunch (Unpaid)
