Equine Groom Apprentice on Rehab Yard

This is a non riding position with all general yard duties plus learning and assisting within a state of the art Rehab Centre . All general horse care duties required including:

Mucking Out Grooming Lunging Turning in and out 

Training:
Equine groom Level 2 apprenticeship standard Functional Skills in maths and English if required

The successful candidate can expect to undertake a minimum of 12 months' training which will take place out at the employer's premises, with the support of the employer, and will be carried out by Haddon Training.

Training Outcome:
A full time position or progression onto the advanced apprenticeship (level 3) may be available after completion

Employer Description:
Saywell Equestrian is a equine rehabilitation centre based in Newark, that offer a wide range of therapy methods. International SJ and Coach Andrew Saywell are also based at the centre.

Working Hours :
The successful candidate can expect to be working 40 hours per week. Days and shifts to be discussed with the employer.
