Roofing & Cladding Designer

A specialist building envelope contractor is currently looking a permanent remote Roofing & Cladding Designer, offering a fantastic work-life balance with a 36-hour working week and an early finish every Friday at 12:00 PM.

Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (Starting) | Rising to £60,000 over 4 years
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Mon–Thu) | 08:00 – 12:00 (Fri) | 36 Hours Per Week
Location: 100% Remote (UK Based) | Site surveys as required

Key Responsibilities:

Produce detailed design drawings using AutoCAD. Accurately schedule materials for production and site delivery. Detail and schedule specifically for Kingspan, Euroclad, CA, and Trimo systems. Conduct site surveys across the UK as required (all travel and accommodation costs covered). Coordinate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and project timelines are met.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Designer within the Roofing & Cladding sector. Essential: Deep technical proficiency in detailing and scheduling for Kingspan, Euroclad, CA, and Trimo systems. Please Note: This role requires specific roofing/cladding knowledge; candidates with only façade-based experience will not be considered. High proficiency in AutoCAD. Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Package:

Competitive starting salary with a clear progression path to £60k. 100% Work from Home. 12:00 PM finish every Friday. Full travel and accommodation expenses paid for site visits.
