Sports Coach Apprentice

Please note: Applicants must be 18 or over due to Ofsted regulations, hold a full UK driving licence with access to transport, and have either a Level 3 sports qualification or coaching experience to a Level 3 standard.

As an apprentice you will:

Assist with the delivery of sport and physical activities to children and young people during school curriculum time Follow the PE National Curriculum and/or set programmes of study Deliver a range of OSHL (Out of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunchtime and after school Support the delivery of community holiday camps during school holidays Help prepare equipment and activity areas for sessions Encourage children to participate and develop active lifestyles

Training:
All your learning for the programme will be done remotely via Teams, including online 1:2:1 sessions with your tutor On completion, you will achieve a Level 4 Sports Coach qualification and Functional Skills in maths and English if required

Training Outcome:
Following completion of the apprenticeship, there will be further employment opportunities available
