Machining Technician Apprentice

Your responsibilities:

To set and operate a variety of CNC controlled machines, Hydraulic and mechanical presses, and press brakes within the component's facility. Read and understand engineering drawings. Carry out inspection to designated quality standards and procedures. To have the ability to train new or existing operators To be proactive in all process improvement initiatives

Training Outcome:

As a Machining Technician Apprentice (Level 3) at Baxi, you’ll be working towards becoming a Setter. within the components team in Preston, reporting to the Setter Team Leader. You’ll be setting a variety of CNC machines, manual and auto presses, including coil-fed presses, to make them ready for operators to use them safely and correctly.
