Furniture Manufacturing Apprentice

From day one, you’ll be part of the production team, gaining hands-on experience and building practical skills that will stay with you for life.

In a typical week, you could be:

Learning core woodworking and joinery techniques Assisting in the manufacture and assembly of high-quality furniture Reading and working from technical drawings Operating machinery safely and effectively Supporting finishing, fitting and quality control processes Working as part of a skilled production team

Every week you’ll grow in confidence, develop new skills and see the results of your work come to life. By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have a recognised qualification, valuable work experience, and a strong foundation for a long-term career in furniture making.



Training:

The apprenticeship training is delivered through a combination of workplace learning and regular college attendance. This training will teach you the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the Furniture Making Operative standard. On completion, the apprentice will receive Furniture Making Operative Level 2 qualification. Functional Skills in Maths and English may also be required depending on current level.   



Training Outcome:
Upon completion of the Funiture Making Operative Level 2 apprenticeship, there is potential for a Production Operative role at Modus Furniture Ltd.

Monday to Thursday- 07.30- 16.30 Friday- 07.30- 13.30
