Fabricator/Welder Apprentice
Assist experienced welders and fabricators in the manufacture of steel components
Learn and carry out MIG/TIG welding under supervision
Prepare materials by measuring, marking out, cutting and drilling steel sections
Use hand tools and workshop machinery safely and correctly
Read and work from engineering drawings and job sheets
Carry out basic fabrication tasks such as tacking, grinding and finishing
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Follow health, safety and quality procedures at all times
Learn correct handling, storage, and identification of materials
Learning to Operate a tube bending machine and a Robot welding machine
Training Outcome:
Progression/permanent role within company

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm Friday 8am to 4pm
