Apprentice Teaching Assistant

As an Apprentice TA, you will support the Class Teacher in creating a warm, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where our youngest pupils can thrive. You will help with day‑to‑day classroom activities, support children’s early development in literacy and numeracy, and assist with setting up learning areas and resources. You will also play a key role in encouraging positive behaviour, promoting independence, and supporting the well-being and progress of all pupils.



Training:

Teaching Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

Functional Skills maths if required Functional Skills English if required

The training will take place within the workplace over the duration of the apprenticeship



Training Outcome:
There may be the chance to progress within the school

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 31.25 hours per week.
