Apprentice Early Years Practitioner - Fledglings Pre School Nursery,SK7 1DS

We are currently recruiting for a new apprentice to work in our lovely outstanding nursery setting in Bramhall, Stockport. We are interested in recruiting someone to complete the Apprentice Early Years Practitioner and join our established friendly team.

To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress To help ensure the preschool nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times To understand and work to preschool nursery policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes To ensure records are properly maintained, e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident book, risk assessments To liaise closely with parents/carers, informing them about the nursery and its curriculum, exchanging information about children’s progress and encouraging parents’ involvement To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the preschool aims and objectives

Training:

Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff

Training Outcome:
There is a possibility of being offered a full-time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
You will be working a 40 hour week, covering the opening times of the setting- 07.30 to 18.00 Monday to Friday- actual hours TBC.
