IT Support Apprentice

Setting up new starters on the system, creating/migrating their mailbox from a prem environment to the cloud. Setting up hardware devices like computers, laptops, cameras and printers. Assisting employees with general IT issues/queries, ranging from setting up peripherals to troubleshooting complex problems. Collaborating with all departments across the business working on crucial IT projects. Testing and maintenance of the backup system. Firewall maintenance and updating rules within the system. Configuration and maintenance of cisco switches. Checking computers/laptops windows updates, manually and automatically through an update server. Involved in improving cyber policies and phishing simulations. Updating/improving documentation procedures. Effectively control health & safety risks within your designated work areas and teams.

Training:
Yeovil college attendence once every 2 weeks, plus 1 hour remote session every week. 

Training Outcome:
Upon completion of this apprenticeship, there could be potential to become an IT Support Technician within Framptons Ltd.

Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm.
