Health & Care Support Assistant Foundation Apprentice

Daily role will vary dependant on the workplace:

Work in line with health, safety and environmental requirements Communicate and share information using verbal. On-verbal, written and digital methods Complete own work tasks and ask for help when required Work with colleagues to contribute to team outcomes. Help keep individuals safe and come to no harm Follow infection prevention and control precautions to protect yourself and others in the workplace Use digital systems and technology Apply basic food hygiene and preparation methods Move and handle equipment or other items safely and assist individuals Develop personal resilience Apply new learning and feedback to everyday practice Overcome challenges and adapt to changes to work

Training:
8 Month programme with day release to Newcastle College (ST5 2GB)

Training Outcome:

Could lead to:

Healthcare Support Worker (level 2) Adult Care Worker (Level 2) Lead Adult Care Worker (Level 3) Or any other apprenticeship
