Apprentice Manufacturing Operative

As part of your apprenticeship, you will:

Be required to prepare, control, contribute to and complete manufacturing operations Follow manufacturing processes Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)  Work within specific safe working policies and procedures Learn all areas of manufacture, including the testing of printed circuit boards and system assemblies

Training:

You will spend 4 days each week working at SMS Electronics, and 1 day each week at DCG's Roundhouse campus.



Training Outcome:

Although SMS Electronics cannot guarantee a permanent position at the end of the apprenticeship, you could progress to further engineering apprenticeships or use your skills and knowledge to work in manufacturing.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 3.30pm Friday - 7.30am to 3pm. 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 10-minute paid breaks.
