Business Support Apprentice
About the role
You will work as part of a friendly team, providing essential administrative and reception support. No two days will be the same. Tasks include:
Handling calls, emails and reception enquiries Setting up meeting rooms and ICT equipment Preparing documents, letters and employee certificates Updating records and databases Supporting the HR team with routine tasks Managing stationery orders and keeping office areas tidy Assisting with staff engagement activitiesTraining:
Formal training is delivered at HWGTA, located Holmer Road, Hereford HR4 9SX.
You will receive a training plan that is specific to your qualification, with sessions that are delivered through a combination of face-to-face and remote.
You will receive monthly visits from your assigned Learning and Development Specialist, who will set your work, monitor your development and wellbeing, and discuss training sessions. They will also prepare you for your End Point Assessment to gain your Business Admin qualification.
Training Outcome:
This role could progress within the business.
We have an HR Officer who started as a Business Support Apprentice 5 years ago and a Finance Officer who started as an Accounts Apprentice 4 years ago.
Development is there for the right candidate if there are positions available.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm inclusive of 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
