Dog Groomer Apprentice (Doggy Styling Boutique CLAYGATE)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cobham salon that is part of a thriving high end business in the Surrey area.

This role will include:

Preparing dogs to specification, ready to be groomed by the stylist, tasks include: bathing, drying, nail clipping and rough trimming Learning and following direction from a grooming trainer, assist in ensuring excellent salon presentation is maintained and high standards are kept through cleanliness, safety and good standards of housekeeping

Training:
Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Dog Groomer Apprenticeship The learner will be allocated an industry-specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on-site visits throughout the apprenticeship The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship. If Functional Skills in English and maths are required, these will also be completed

Doggy Styling is a high end and unique grooming salon and dog boutique, a home from home for our four-legged friends. This is a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice dog groomer to join our team and learn on the job. The goal is to progress to a stylist position.

Working Hours :
Tuesday - Saturday, 9.15am - 6.00pm, with a 30 minute lunch.
