Rail Apprenticeship

You will embark on an exciting learning journey, gaining experience in;

The heavy maintenance overhaul of rolling stock Electrical and mechanical light maintenance activities Collaborating closely with the Team Leader to execute a variety of tasks, gaining valuable skills under expert supervision Upholding the highest safety standards by strictly following Vehicle Maintenance Instructions and local procedures, ensuring a secure work environment Diligently using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety regulations to maintain a culture of safety and professionalism

Training:

Due to the requirements of the role you will attend college in a block release period therefore there will be a requirement to spend time away from home in Crewe whilst at college. This will be 3 weeks 3 times a year (9 weeks in total).



Training Outcome:

Your Journey to Becoming an Engineer: Over the next 4 years you will work towards a Level 3 NVQ qualification in Rail Engineering – Traction and Rolling Stock whilst gaining the experience for a successful career. You’ll get the chance to learn, grow, and be part of something bigger than just a job.

Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:00.
