Spunalloys - Level 3 - Quality Engineering Apprenticeship

You will be trained to be responsible for:

Inspecting Large machined components using a variety of measuring equipment and instruments, such as Zeiss CMM, micrometres, gauges, etc. Ensuring that components are in line with the agreed specification, producing dimensional reports and corrective action for non-conforming parts Programming Zeiss CMM using Aberlink software - full training will be provided around this

Training:

Together with invaluable commercial and practical experience, you’ll gain several academic and vocational qualifications throughout your time with us and Make UK, which are fully paid for, including: 

Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Practical Foundation Training – in year 1, in 6-week blocks to include 4 weeks at Make UK and 2 weeks in the company Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Workplace Competence Training - in years 2 to 4 in the company Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Development Knowledge - in Years 1, 2 & 3 on block release to Make UK In-house training in line with your requirements. Further qualifications deemed necessary by your employer

On completion of your studies and End Point Assessment (EPA), you will achieve your full apprenticeship certification that will prove competence as a Level 3 Engineering Technician.

Make UK's training centre is in Aston, B6 7EU.

Training Outcome:

All vacancies have prospects for promotion to Supervisor or Manager.

Working Hours :
At company - Mon - Thur 7am - 3pm Fri 7am - 2pm.
