Dispensing of medication to patients Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & safety responsibility Rotation of stock Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart cards Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Working within a team environment Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals Completion of apprenticeship work on time

Training:
Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhc) End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training

Training Outcome:
Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship A potentially permanent position within the organisation

A pharmacy based in Brighton are hoping to recruit a hardworking and determined candidate to work within their small team of qualified professionals, as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualifications.



Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 9.00am - 6.00pm (one-hour unpaid lunch)
