Sports Coach Apprenticeship L4

Sports Enthusiasts: You've got experience as a multi-sport coach or player and a solid foundation in multiple sports disciplines. You live and breathe sports! Skilful Communicators: You know how to engage and connect with young people, parents, and staff, making every session fun, inclusive, and memorable. Inspirational Leaders: You’re excited about motivating young people, fostering their love for sports, and helping them develop new skills, regardless of their age or ability level. Flexible Team Players: You're adaptable, creative, and ready to tailor your coaching approach to meet the unique needs of diverse groups of kids. ● Qualified Professionals: You hold relevant coaching certifications in one or more sports, possess First Aid skills, and are prepared to obtain or already have an Enhanced DBS check. Mobile Mentors: A full driving licence and the ability to travel to various locations are essential for this role. Must have a driving license to commute to different schools across Wakefield & Barnsley

Training:

The apprentice will receive full on-the-job training as well as 20% off-the- job training. They will receive a wraparound service from SCL.

Training Outcome:

The apprentice will be able to progress on to a teaching qualification if desired, once they complete their apprenticeship.
