Employer Description:
The Red Lion first became a pub in 1787 when it was converted from three miner’s cottages. Thick exposed stone walls & wood paneling in a number of small, cozy rooms with blazing fires, create a comfortable & inviting atmosphere.
The Red Lion is a very busy traditional pub and although well-loved by walkers and tourists, it is a real village pub. We have a wonderful mix of local, interesting characters that drink and eat here. Many a stranger has come in for a pint and walked away having enjoyed friendly banter and interesting stories to remind themselves of their time in the lovely village of Litton.
