Children's social worker

We are looking for a Children’s Social Worker to join our Children in Need Team

Do not apply for this role if you do not have a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

The team is committed to providing high-quality protection and intervention for the most vulnerable children in need. They manage a complex caseload, including cases involving children with disabilities, ensuring that every case is approached with a strong child-centred focus. Providing support and guidance to colleagues within the team is also pivotal to the team’s overall success.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipDW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' experience is essential to be considered for this role. Also, knowledge and ability to complete Section 47 and Section 17 are needed. A successful candidate will have previous experience working within Child protection and Children in need and duty and assessment. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is not essential but desirable for the role.
