Apprentice Dryliner (Ref T-P-0001-26)

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable apprentice to join our team and train in drylining - one of the most in-demand skills in the building industry today. You’ll gain real-world experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification in Interior Systems Installation.

What is Drylining?

Drylining is the modern way to create the internal structure of a building. It involves installing partitions, wall linings, and ceilings — helping to shape spaces, conceal wiring and pipes, and improve insulation and soundproofing.

You’ll be trained and supported in a wide range of hands-on tasks, including:

Reading and interpreting site drawings and diagrams Installing metal stud partition walls, wall linings and ceiling systems Measuring, cutting & fixing plasterboard to timber and metal frameworks Taping & jointing plasterboards Skimming and sanding surfaces to a professional finish Measuring and cutting materials accurately Repairing minor plasterboard damage & reinstating walls & ceilings to match existing finishes Following health and safety procedures on site Carrying out quality assurance checks

Training:

Interior Systems Installer Level 2.

The apprentice will attend college in Edgware every day for 4 days of every month to receive additional training - so being able to drive will be essential.

Training Outcome:

There will be opportunity for full-time employment on successful completion if the apprenticeship.

Employer Description:

Training & Apprenticeships in Construction Ltd (TrAC) is a DfE approved Flexi Job Apprenticeship Agency who will employ you for the duration of the apprenticeship and pay your salary. You should be aware that you will be placed with a host employer but you will not be employed by them. Your placement may change during the course of your apprenticeship but TrAC will employ you throughout, as well as continuing to support you into employment or further learning at the end of your apprenticeship.
