Apprentice Engineer

The successful applicant will spend their days supporting and learning from technicians and engineers alike in the build and design of Chelton Products This will involve the physical build and test of our product as well as the design processes, which will include design meetings and reviews, CAD work and remedial investigation

Engineering Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Standard Company Training Plan & Assessment BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Engineering (1 day per week for 2 years at college) Level 4 Diploma in Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (Development Competence) Level 2 Functional Skills - maths (If required) Level 2 Functional Skills - English (If required) End Point Assessment at the end of the apprenticeship (Months 36 to 39) College will be in Bicester, Oxfordshire

Training Outcome:
Upon completion of the apprenticeship by the successful applicant, there will be the opportunity to join the engineering team in one of our business units where the former apprentice can begin their progression through each engineering level There are also opportunities to move into management roles if desired One of our previous apprentices is now a Head of Engineering in Chelton and previous to that held one of our Business Unit Manager roles
