Apprentice (Civil Engineer) Degree

A degree Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering with Durham County Council gives you the opportunity to work across our Transport Services, within Strategic Traffic Management.

You will work alongside a diverse and highly skilled team that looks after approximately 4,800km of highway, 22,360 road markings, 4,000km of footways, 69 sets of traffic signals, 73 pedestrian crossings, 12,500 bollards, and 63,300 unlit signs that allow our residents and visitors to go about their business.



Training:
The apprentice will attend a local university on a day release basis

Training Outcome:
We are unable to guarantee a job role on completion of the apprenticeship but there will be opportunities for progression while on programme
