Trainee Simulation Technician Apprentice

Set up and prepare the simulation suite, teaching rooms and equipment for education and training sessions. Support the delivery of simulation-based training alongside faculty and facilitators. Maintain, test and troubleshoot simulation equipment, manikins and associated technology. Create moulage and realistic props to enhance training scenarios. Assist with in-situ simulation sessions across clinical areas within the hospital. Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and documentation. Support the use of video, teleconference and technology-enhanced learning equipment. Communicate effectively with the Education and Development Team and wider colleagues. Ensure equipment and learning environments are safe, organised and ready for use.

Training Outcome:

This Level 3 apprenticeship, will give you a nationally recognised qualification enabling you to build a career in simulation and healthcare education.
