Apprentice Assembly & Test Technician
As a member of the assembly and test engineering team, you will follow a training plan to become competent in all aspects of the role.
Typical jobs include:
Kitting parts prior to assembly Building and wiring assemblies Electrical and mechanical testing and troubleshooting Performing “Factory Acceptance Testing” (FAT) of assembled products, including pressure testing Maintaining accurate records of all activities Preparing completed equipment (and documentation) for shipping Inspection, documentation, and repair of returned equipment Progression to occasional build and rework of PCBs (including surface mount soldering) Training will be provided for all activities and detailed standardised procedures exist for all routine tasksTraining:
You will attend York College on a day release basis: 2 days per week in year 1 and 2, 1 day per week in year 3, 1 day per half-term in year 4. The remainder of your training will take place in the workplace.
Training Outcome:
At the end of a successful apprenticeship, they will be an experienced Assembly & Test Engineer’s role (with a commensurate salary) As C-Kore continues to expand, other roles may become available

Whilst the majority of Staff are located in the main offices, C-Kore also has members of its sales team based in Aberdeen an other locations around the world.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, including attendance at York College 2 days per week initially.
