Develop skills in metal cutting, shaping, fabrication, and welding, especially for corrosion-resistant materials and high-impact structures used offshore. Work under the guidance of experienced fabricators and engineers on real-world offshore projects. Learn to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, applying precision and attention to safety at every step. Build a strong understanding of offshore industry regulations, quality control, and health & safety standards.

A keen interest in metalwork, engineering, or fabrication. Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset. Willingness to learn, commit, and grow within a hands-on, challenging environment. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and follow instructions precisely.

Training:

The candidate will work towards a Metal Fabricator Level 3  Apprenticeship Standard:

Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) End point assessment Delivery method to be confirmed

Training Outcome:

Full time position upon completion of the apprenticeship
