Apprentice CAD Technician (36375)
Examples of day-to-day duties may include:
• Creating both 2D and 3D components
• Creating 3D programs for automatic press break’s
• Creating cutting programs for a mix of machines including lasers, waterjets, plasma and flame
• Dealing with customer both over the phone and via email
• Office administrative duties as and when required
• Some of the working week will be spent working on the shop floor to gain understanding of the role and business
• On completion of the Level 2 apprenticeship, you will then be put on a level 3 CAD apprenticeship
How you will be supported
Full training and support will be provided by our well experienced staff and assessment staff at The Growth Company. A comprehensive training program has been developed by The PP Group of Companies where you will be learning to operate the machinery relevant to your role.
You will also get extensive training on operation of all our machines to help aid your decision making when working within the CAD team.
