An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering large-scale mission critical and industrial projects across Europe. This position will be based on a major data centre development in Frankfurt, where you will form a key part of the project’s commercial team, supporting the successful delivery of a complex, high-value build.

Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider project team, you will play an integral role in the financial and contractual management of the project, ensuring strong commercial performance from procurement through to final account.

The Role As A Senior Quantity Surveyor Will Include

Playing a key role within the project commercial team to support successful project delivery Managing commercial packages and subcontractor accounts across the project lifecycle Monitoring budgets and supporting the delivery of project financial targets Assessing subcontractor performance and certifying payments Supporting value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives Providing guidance and support to junior members of the commercial team

As A Senior Quantity Surveyor You Will Need

Experience working within a main contractor or civil engineering contractor environment Good understanding of NEC or JCT contracts Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability Ability to manage large volumes of commercial documentation and project data Excellent communication and organisational skills Strong IT skills including Excel and commercial reporting tools
