Landscape Technician Apprenticeship Level 3

Assist the team with ongoing project work using relevant software: AutoCAD, KeySCAPES, Adobe suite, Sketchup This can include working on baseline work for landscape visual impact assessments, aiding the team with masterplans for large scale projects, working on plot layouts for housing developments Developing your understanding of plants and planting arrangements for small scale developments through to large scale garden villages Complete basic drawing tasks using AutoCAD in relation to plans for housing layouts Graphic design input into projects

Training:

This apprenticeship is in partnership with Capel Manor College, London.

You will be expected to complete a minimum of 6 hours of learning per week, with 1 day allocated for remote learning through the college.

You will also cover a breadth of training during working hours at IDP Landscape over the 2 years.

There will be optional in person learning days at the college during the 2 years as well.

Training Outcome:

Your Level 3 qualification can be used to apply for a BA Degree in Landscape Architecture.

Options then include a Masters and Chartership as a Landscape Architect.

There may be opportunity to further your qualifications whilst remaining at IDP Landscape Ltd.

Working Hours :
Our studio operates between 9am - 5.15pm Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour break for lunch. 36.25 hour week (over 5-days) 4-days in the studio, 1-day study day
