IT Apprenticeship

Support school/trust ICT services by providing on-site technical support across multiple sites, supporting the resolution of incidents and service requests in line with agreed processes and procedures Working closely with the ICT Manager and Senior ICT Technician, support the ICT infrastructure including physical and virtual servers, backups and networking devices ensuring the availability and security of the network, data and applications AV set-ups / Video editing and media projects Infrastructure support (wireless and wired network) Support staff & students on use of the school’s ICT systems Printer consumables asset management Systems and software support / Active directory and group policy support

Training:

Your training will be delivered in 2-day blocks every 4-6 weeks, this will be in our online classroom. You will be working with a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships. As part of our apprenticeship you will also have an opportunity to sit two bespoke and one expert module to tailor your training. The expert module is an additional Microsoft Certificate you will obtain by completing the apprenticeship with Baltic Apprenticeships.



Training Outcome:

This apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in IT support. Afterwards, we’ll support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
