Business Development Manager – Facilities Management / Drainage - Maidstone, Kent  £55,000 per annum + Car Allowance
Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm | Office Based An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing and ambitious organisation within the Facilities Management and Drainage sector.

This role is ideal for a driven and commercially focused individual with a proven track record of winning new business within FM or Drainage services. You will play a key role in driving company growth while also maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients.

  Key Responsibilities:Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the FM and/or Drainage sectors

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets

Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to negotiation and contract award

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

Attend client meetings, site visits and networking events as required

Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations and tender submissions

Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth mobilisation of new contracts

Account manage existing clients to maximise retention and identify upselling opportunities

Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline reporting

  Requirements:Proven Business Development experience within Facilities Management or Drainage services

Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Commercially astute with strong relationship-building abilities

Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently

Organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines

Full UK driving license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
